Welcome Back! boot 2027 is in the making

We are delighted to have you as part of the upcoming boot Düsseldorf experience. If you are interested in participating as a speaker or workshop provider in the Refit-Center (Hall 11), we invite you to submit your entry.

If you are new to our program, please provide a brief introduction along with your proposed topic. We highly encourage interactive sessions, such as interviews or discussions with our moderators, hands-on demonstrations of skills and techniques, or any format that actively engages the audience. Traditional PowerPoint presentations will not be permitted during peak hours in the Refit-Center.

Talks & Speeches

We cover the boat building range from bow to stern. The Refit Center is your primary stage for all topics on materials, working on boats, retrofitting and outfitting. Our Focus is to help you be known as an expert in your field by helping the boot visitors to learn from you. We cater topics from boat building, refit, outfit and maintenance. Be our guest for an interview about your topic, explain your skills in a thriving demonstration or introduce gear and hardware in a thriving presentation.

Experiences

Are you in the middle of an exciting project and want to let others participate on your learnings and experiences? We always love to hear a good chat from hands on people!

Time available

Slots range from 15 to 30 Minutes for regular contributions but can be extended for special occasions. Please make sure your submission fits into one of the provided categories.

Our Concept: Workshops Welcome!

We love workshops! If you are presenting a hands-on topic, we are happy to offer you a workshop slot following your presentation or talk.

This allows attendees to engage with you directly, explore techniques in depth, and build stronger connections with you as an expert in your field.

How to Apply for a Workshop Slot

📌 Please submit a separate workshop proposal if you are interested in running a workshop.
📌 Successful workshops focus on hands-on participation and skill-building.
📌 Plain demonstrations are better suited for the stage rather than a workshop setting.
📌 Due to the nature of the fair and respect for exhibitors and visitors, we must keep dust, noise, and fumes to a minimum.

To Consider Your Participation, We Require at least:

✅ A title and a brief abstract of your session
✅ A portrait image of yourself
✅ A second image representing your topic

Both images will be publicly displayed on boot.de / boot.com. By uploading these images, you confirm that you hold all necessary copyrights and permissions for their use.

You may also indicate a maximum number of repetitions (i.e., the number of days you wish to present). Please note that sessions will not be scheduled more than once per day.

Specials: Yard Quiz 🎉

Every day from around 17:30 PM to the end of the fair, we will host a Yard Quiz Night, featuring a speaker and topic covered in the Refit Center program.
This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with new and existing customers in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
If you’d like to participate in the quiz session as a guest speaker, please let us know!
